I am wondering why this project is priced so high when it is surrounded by HDB flats? If the location is indeed a strong factor in the pricing of properties in the area, why are the surrounding HDB flats still selling cheaply?

The HDB flats around J Gateway are definitely not the cheapest in Singapore, neither are they the cheapest in Jurong.

If J Gateway is out of your budget, you might want to consider other developments in the area as well.

replace J Gate with THE MARQ,
replace surrounding HDB with older FH condos along Paterson and Grange ..

there is a huge price difference there as well...

So this scenario can occur in every corner of Singapore... Read More

    Luxury condos like The Marq are found only in prime locations and districts and they stand as a league on their own. Heartland condos like J gateway do not even come anyway close to being luxury so the huge price gap with the surrounding condos or hdb flats just defies logic.
